A word about the land that I love. And urge all who read this to do what you can to protect it. Our public lands are under attack, from Energy Companies, Corporations, Governments, etc... We need to do everything we can to change that. Vote, call your local, state and Fed policitians. The more who call, the more they'll listen. The last 10 years I've noticed subtle but definite changes in the land, air, water out west. Droughts, developement, natural resource exploitation. Got to the web - look up The Grand Canyon Trust; or SUWA; or The Wilderness Society. Commit to preserving the canyons, mountains, oceans, hills, rivers. Whether its in the Southwest desert, the Appalachian Mts, Big Sur, the Outer Banks, Metro Parks. It's worth fighting for. The lizards, Golden Eagles, Big Horn Desert Sheep, Elk, Antelopes, Wild Mustangs, cactus, desert sage, Ponderosa Pines.
